Lexington announced a May 2026 construction phase at Jordan's Point Park to create a riverside amphitheater, terraced seating and an accessible picnic area. The city expected work into late July and said parts of the park near the work zone would close while trails elsewhere remained open when safe. The park notice did not promise a food trailer or identify a customer. A future permitted event must use the current park map, keep construction and public routes separate, and establish where refrigerated products can be delivered without crossing pedestrian-only space. For a summer riverside event, estimate chilled-product volume, service hours, shade and reliable electrical supply before requesting storage. For Lexington refrigerated trailer rental at an approved Jordan's Point event, the new amphitheater and picnic area do not supply power or cold-chain supervision automatically. The event organizer should identify the permitted ground, vehicle entrance and current trail closures. Count food inventory and service hours, then choose a stable pad above wet ground with temperature monitoring and a safe cart path.
