Pitchkettle Road realignment
Suffolk says the Pitchkettle Road connection from the Lake Meade bridge toward West Constance Road is under construction, with new sidewalk and safety improvements.
Local record and application
What this record means for a receiving site
The city's Pitchkettle Road project page says the realignment is under construction. It connects the Pitchkettle Road bridge over Lake Meade toward West Constance Road, aims to improve the Prentis Street-to-Pitchkettle movement, and adds sidewalk on the west side of Pitchkettle Road. Its published construction window is winter 2026 through summer 2027. A nearby institutional kitchen should ask whether construction changes its own legal driveway or delivery hours; the city notice does not identify a food-service shutdown. For a Suffolk kitchen trailer rental, the receiving manager should mark the exact gate on a current plan and verify that the tow vehicle can enter, unload, and depart without reversing into a pedestrian path. Cooking capacity, exhaust, power, water, wastewater, and staff access then determine trailer selection. If a detour is active, obtain the contractor or city traffic notice for that day. The public project budget is a road investment, not an equipment price or an indication of rental availability.
